A Peaceful Home is a Place Where Learning is Possible

Homeschooling is fast becoming a widely accepted practice as an alternative to public and even private schools. There are many reasons why people choose to homeschool, but one common theme is that one or more needs of the child is not being met under the current model. Parents quickly realize that homeschooling is not merely public school at home, as the old system is not conducive for effective learning or establishing close bonds with parents. We encourage the concept that a low-stress and peaceful home environment fosters a natural sense of creativity, curiosity and agency in children.

A common misconception is that many parents don’t think they can actually homeschool their children. The two most common reasons are:

• We cannot afford it.
• I don’t think I am qualified.

What we have found out is that most people, given the right tools and adjustments, CAN homeschool! We want to work with parents to help address these two main questions, including a host of other questions that arise from this endeavor.
